Michelle Gamble named vice president of business development for GSWS

by Helen Andrews | 08 Sep 2014

The Global Spa & Wellness Summit (GSWS) has appointed Michelle Gamble as vice president of business development. Gamble is the former publisher of American Spa magazine and event director for Questex Media’s SPATEC North American business forums.

In her new role, Gamble will be in charge of building strategic partnerships and finding new sponsorship opportunities for the GSWS. She will join the GSWS team at the eighth annual Summit taking place later this week in Morocco (10-12 September).

“All of my professional experience has prepared me for this new position,” said Gamble. “Being part of the Summit team is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work with the leaders and visionaries who are shaping our industry and taking it to the next level.”

In addition to her 15 years in the spa and wellness industry, Gamble holds a BA in advertising from Texas Tech University.

“The spirit of the Summit is collaboration, and Michelle is the perfect person to lead business development during this period of exceptional growth,” said Susie Ellis, chair and CEO of GSWS.
