Best Western unveils hotel for tall guests

A new 122-bedroom Best Western hotel in Basel, Switzerland - Best Western Hotel Stücki - has opened its doors to the public, which has been specifically designed to accommodate taller guests.
The hotel, which was unveiled by Best Western Swiss Hotels in September, is fitted with beds at least 7ft (2.1m) long and 43 inches (109cm) wide to cater for tall people, while the average height of the rooms is 9.5ft (2.9m). Located in the new Stücki Shopping Centre, Best Western Hotel Stücki boasts nine suites and 13 business apartments, as well as a restaurant, conferencing and meeting facilities, an exercise area and a barber and beauty shop.
The property, which has added to Best Western Swiss Hotels' portfolio of more than 40 hotels across the country, is also connected to one of the first Block House Steak Restaurants in Switzerland.
