Lee Valley Regional Park Authority awards quality monitoring contract to RD Health and Safety Ltd
RDHS is pleased to announce it has won the contract award for quality monitoring services at Lee Valley Regional Park Authority.
A three-year contract has been awarded, which commenced on 1st April 2013, and the it requires RDHS to provide an assurance process for the authority’s venues and open spaces.
The contract includes the delivery of audits of the quality management system (QMS), quality audits benchmarking against recognised schemes such Quest and Green Flag and Mystery Visits.
Vince Donaldson, performance manager (Lee Valley Regional Park Authority Parklands and Venues) said: "The quality monitoring contract is very important to the authority - this provides assurance that we are delivering the high standards we set ourselves in order to become a 'world class destination with world class venues and open spaces'.
"RD Health and Safety (RDHS) will bring a new, fresh and realistic approach to our quality monitoring function. We very much look forward to working with RD Health and Safety Ltd over the next three years and the continued development of our Quality Management processes."
Joe Ryan, managing director at RDHS commented: "This is fantastic news for RDHS, this is just reward for the hard work my team put into our services. Since the close of the London 2012 Olympic Games, we have been working hard to re-develop the business and have now been awarded a wonderful contract to demonstrate our quality management skills.
This contract award also enables ourselves to integrate the quality management function with our already strong health and safety function we provide for the authority, resulting in a more effective service."
This contract complements the health and safety management contract, which RDHS operates until October 2019.
