Vitala active in Vietnam
UK-based Vitala Group has signed a memorandum of understanding to carry out eight feasibility studies in Vietnam.
Most projects are situated within the Ho Chi Minh City district and cover mixed-use developments with leisure elements, a hotel, a themed entertainment project and a tourist resort project to be located in the Khanh Haa Province of Vietnam.
Also being considered for development are a marina, port site and freight container port in Ho Chi Minh City Harbour.
The deal with Ho Chi Minh City-based Thanh Nien Joint Stock Corporation will see the Hanh Liem Group providing all suitable land sites within the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and will facilitate all government permits and licences.
Vitala Group will deal with all project architectural designs, provision of feasibility research studies, project finance evaluation, search and placement of individual project funds.
The Hanh Liem Group’s ventures into tourism projects coincides with the announcement by Nguyen Mang Cuong, deputy head of the Vietnam National Administration for Tourism (VNAT), that VNAT has set up new markets with Western Europe, Austria, China, Singapore and Malaysia to map out promotional packages tailored to each geographical market.
Vietnamese Airlines has pledged to discount airfares for guests who come from select markets within the tourism sector.
